Unfailingly modest, Casey insists he’s not breaking the mold. “It’s a bit of a cop-out to call the collection sensual, graphic, and sculptural because I guess I could say that every season, but I like to be consistent and keep improving my ideas, rather than flipping the whole thing every time,” he shares. The finale look – the relatively tame combination of a tantalizingly transparent top and sculptural jeans worn by Bella – is, perhaps surprisingly, Casey’s favorite of the collection. But as always, he considers Mugler’s customers over the editorial impact of his mesh bodysuits. “At the end of the day, Bella wears jeans and a top but they are pretty wild.
