At the bunker, Archie plays a song he wrote for Betty while we’re treated to some flashback footage. Betty stops him and cries and reiterates how much she loves Jughead. She posits that she and Archie just feel safe with each other, and with everything about to change, that feels comforting. So Barchie is officially shut down, and later that night, Archie recommits to the Naval Academy and a fresh start and Betty burns all her diaries (except for one, saved by Alice). What’s in that one diary she saved, hmm?
