"Being independent is really important to me. I travel by myself—I do a lot of things on my own. I’m very happy with my own company. I’ve lived in New York, Paris, the Netherlands, and China. During those times I worked through a lot of personal stuff. I like to be anonymous. Performing is my chance to connect with my audience. I enter this trance like state of euphoria. After I perform I come down off the high pretty badly. It’s quite bizarre how hard it hits me, but I think it’s a common feeling for a lot of musicians. My voice just does things that I had no idea it could do when I’m performing. I really come alive in front of an audience. When you see me live, that’s who I am. I’m very particular with my music, down to every note, every little sound you hear, even the air between the noise. I’m particular all across the board, from the way I dress—I always wear black and my outfits are very similar—to everything I put out there on social media; it’s all completely myself and who I want to be portrayed as. I have complete creative and artistic control over everything that I do which is really great. I don’t think it’s that common in this industry and I think that’s quite special. I find it difficult to differentiate who I am as an artist and who I am as a person. I don’t have an alter ego or anything. It’s me -- all of it. So I suppose it would be describing myself."WHAT MAKES YOU WORTH LISTENING TO: blazer bouton doré “I had an opportunity to sit by your father at funerals, the highs and the lows. And we shared stories about our kids and about our parents,” Michelle Obama said. “Our values are the same.” blazer bouton doré Meanwhile, non-Sheriff Keller is arresting Hal outside the Coopers’s (is he allowed to do that?) as Alice, Betty, Fred, and Archie look on. Betty and Archie compare notes: her dad is the Black Hood; but then who broke in and shot Fred an hour ago, since it couldn’t have been Hal? Jughead interrupts this meeting of the minds with a call to tell Betty he’ll always love her. The finality of his wording alarms her, with good reason because we see that Jughead is turning himself over to Penny and the Ghoulies in exchange for cancelling the showdown. He’s jumped by 30 Ghoulies as Penny shouts that the deal was for nothing — by morning, Riverdale as we know it will cease to exist! — and opens her switchblade to get her pound of flesh from Juggy. Betty, meanwhile, has alerted F.P. to the weird Jughead call, so after asking Toni where Penny’s hideout is, he’s off to save his son… blazer bouton doré Veronica and Hermione hit the Pembrooke like a hurricane, fighting about where the bounty money will come from. V is adamant that her father not use her St. Clair ransom money, and runs off into Hiram’s study to look for it, locking the door behind her. Hermione bangs on the door while V searches the place (picking locks like her BFF Betty) and finds a file labeled“October Surprise.” blazer bouton doré
