I started [my own] rough treatment to “Sally,” and when I went and researched the pitches and told professionals what I wanted, it was really about unifying people who are outcasts. The whole song is about overcoming negativity, and thriving off of who you are and letting yourself exist as you. When they did the casting and brought in all these incredible people who have been through things in their lives — who are not necessarily societally accepted, who deal with repercussions because they decide to be who they are on a daily basis — I wanted it to be aboutthem.About that whole principle, because I feel Iam see you soon robe
