I was inspired by a memory, a sad one, of my own time at Harvard. When I was a junior, a young man in my upperclassmen house, or dorm, [died by suicide]. But it wasn’t until a year later that the full weight of his loss really hit me, when I read an article recounting how his little sister had learned guitar and come to campus to play a tribute to him.
