Yeah, I think I do have a fear of that. I think that the good thing is that I'm able to see the roles before I choose them, and I can smell a tokenized role from 10 feet away. It's very obvious what people are trying to do, intention-wise, like how the character is built, if she plays any meaningful role into the plot that isn't that she's just a minority friend.
