K. Dot has adopted a few skins but is still struggling to fit into the boxes formed for him. His lyrics throughout the album speak to confusion and paranoia. On “FEEL” he offers a litany of all the constantly opposing emotions that swirl through his mind as he goes from pimp to preacher. He is a self-proclaimed former gangster who must now speak to the salvation of the youth — a long-standing tradition among the older, wiser OG members of the community. He’s a rapper who is no less misogynistic than his peers, even if he doesn’t blatantly target women —a fault commonly forgiven when the lyrics read as positive and spiritual. (Misogyny is longstanding not just in music but in religion itself.) He is a Black man who makes more money than society says he should, but it's only thanks to a long-standing corporate structure that demands as much from him as it gives him freedom to be himself. Kendrick is not woke; he’s alive, still trying to glean enlightenment from a few pieces, but not the puzzle as a whole. As a result, we see him onDAMN about candidates like him and McBath is that their campaigns are so singularly focused on being anti–police brutality that they lack experience and insight into other critical issues at hand. While the immediate reduction and eventual elimination of police violence is ideal for many voters, there is a lingering concern on whetherpolice-reform activists "The only way we can be part of the change is if we start with local government and we work our way up." Reports have suggested that the OG cast of Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, and Kelly Bishop will bereturning for the new episodes
