It turns out that there might have been a couple of major clues hiding in the premiere episode. The guys behind the podcastBros Watch PLL Too Emily and Jake were compelled to make the film after speaking with survivors in the immediate aftermath; starting with Sam Zeif, a Parkland senior whose texts with his brother during lockdown went viral. “We were both taken aback by how articulately he was able to describe what he went through,” Jake says. “We were blown away by it. It was like the air was sucked out of the room. And the fact that Sam so early on could see why it was important to use his voice to keep his friend Joaquin [Oliver]'s memory alive; to make sure that everyone in the country and the world understood what they went through and why it cannot happen again.” It's super empowering, and the girl-power video is full of coordinating girls breaking it down (you know, in case you and your friends were looking for a last-minute Halloween costume). And that hair?It's downright magical "Just seeing the building was scary." But she said the chance to see friends "made it a lot better."
