As evident in the months of protests, in the months of civil unrest and action, there are many ways to hold our systems accountable. I do think, though, it is of the utmost importance that we use voting as yet another avenue. It works in conjunction with the civic action happening around the world. I am proud to come from a generation that cares deeply about so much and so many people; it feels like a mark of Gen Z that our community is ever-expansive.… We understand that policy is personal and that we must pay attention to the topics that seemingly “don’t relate” to us.
