I was in bed all the time. I wrote songs about that. I was, like, playing guitar with a straightened leg in bed. I had this medical shower helper thing. It was pretty secluding going through that. That's when I started posting a lot more music on YouTube. The rest of the songs on the EP are more about other people. "Heavy Heart" is just about me. It's talking about myself. I talked about wearing all black. The other songs are more about how it's difficult in relationships to communicate. Usually writing a song about it is when I can actually say things. It's in retrospect. You know? You always come up with a comeback after you're gone. The whole thing is revolving around "Heavy Heart," even though that's the slowest ballad song.
