Last month, Liam Payne was accused of being homophobic by One Direction fans. At a show on their Take Me Home Again Tour, he introduced the track, "Girl Almighty," by saying, "This is my favorite song off the last album, and it is about trying to find that number one woman of your life, which none of you can relate to, ’cause most of you are girls. Except for the boys in here, you know what I’m talking about." The heteronormative statement upset the band's very large LGBT following, and they were quick to let Liam know.At the time, he defended himself on Twitter.Twitter contentView on TwitterTwitter contentView on Twitter stance 2 2018 already nabbed by the K-pop group, BTS has received yet another honor courtesy of theSoompi Awards stance 2 2018 After decades of war, starvation, and death, Red Cloud agreed to take his Oglala to Pine Ridge, where, 14 years later, the 7th Cavalry carried out theWounded Knee Massacre stance 2 2018 The heightened awareness of the Dakota Access Pipeline draws attention to other pipeline projects throughout the United States.
