In 2018 Michaela gave an Edinburgh TV Festival MacTaggart lecture that would be the catalyst for this book that interrogates the entertainment industry. She chronicles her life growing up in East London, bonding with her secondary school girlfriends, getting into theatre, and eventually creating two successful shows.
