I attended the march that took place at Minnesotaâs state capital that day, led by a cohort of female politicians, including Ilhan Omar, who had just been elected to Minnesotaâs state House of Representatives. I was living in Minneapolis at the time, and I covered the Minnesota march, which drew a crowd of more than 90,000 people, for Rewire.org, a local, millennial-geared PBS affiliate thatâs now defunct. Bollaâs âbrand briefs,â as he likes to call them, quickly gained traction from companies, and he soon started freelance designing for local nonprofits and organizations on campus.
