which assumes that we will continue to pollute and use fossil fuels at our current rate. misty bike This seems easy enough, but you have to see people you disagree with, or people who have hurt you, as people. For David, it pushed him to face all the suffering in the world, and feel it. That helped him become a better person, and in turn, realize how to help others. misty bike Yeah, I think it's really about these like queer communities of color and the way that they intersect and are overlap and are a Venn diagram.Brown Girls misty bike Not really, the thing about he series is we wanted to have a really intimate portrayal of these two friends. So it's really kind of just about their friendship. So like even while they mention things about race or racism, they're not really [explicitly addressing it]. Like, there's like this one scene that in which one of the girls gets fired from her job and she comes and she's like you know, "They're racists." And then their friend is like, "The owner is Latina, they can't be racist." And then the other girl is like, "My family is racist." So there's like very subtle conversation, but it's definitely not a like special episode kind of show. It just captures living their lives. Like totally living out what goes on and kind of the ways that they interact like in terms of their friendship.TV: misty bike
