And the members of their gang who weren’t my friends assumed my reluctance to join meant I was working against them. Essentially, there was danger coming from every direction. I had a friend who lived a few neighborhoods over and was going through the same thing. People always walk around scared, like they could get shot at any minute because of the gangs, but I didn’t want to feed that fear. giant gx28
