It was the middle of our quarantined summer when Megan dropped “Girls in the Hood” and I was running every single day, from the Eazy E sample Meg's usual hot girl lyrics, this song motivated me to finish just about every single run. When Pop Smoke died earlier this year I was devastated because I had just become a fan of his. So, when his album dropped I was tuned all the way in. Something about "The Woo" brought me so much positivity even on the weirdest quarantined days and almost every time I went to Brooklyn this summer, I heard it blasting from someone's car window. Jhene Aiko's "Chilombo" got me through this year from start to finish. "B.S." specifically was a favorite because it literally inspired me to be back on my B.S. all year round from relationships to friendships.“Girls in the Hood” by Megan Thee Stallion“The Woo” by Pop Smoke“B.S.” by Jhene AikoChristine Davitt, Senior Social Media ManagerPhoto: Hugo Comte/Warner RecordsCredit: Hugo Comte superfly 9.6 2015 “don't you (taylor's version) both acting as therapy and also causing me to need therapy.”Twitter contentView on TwitterTwitter contentView on TwitterTwitter contentView on Twitter superfly 9.6 2015 to digitally recreate Carrie.
