I think for many teens, a fundamental fact of the teenage experience is that you’re in between this child-like state in which you’re told you’re completely unqualified for just about anything in the adult world, and this adult world where you’re being told you have to be responsible, and you’re just trying to figure out where you stand.Photo: Dean Buscher/The CWTV giant stance 29 One of the first images shown in the video is of Hannah, with the words “All I needed was the love you gave” written across the screen, and about halfway through the song, we see those words again, but this time combined with a particularly emotional scene of Hannah's close friend Clay Jensen embracing her. Then later, the lyrics "This is going to take a long time" is shown along with Clay, headphones on, listening to the tapes Hannah left behind, soon followed by an image of a distraught Hannah, with the phrase, "Wonder if you'll understand." giant stance 29 So people will have to see you on tour to get the story?L: giant stance 29 Huda Beauty followed up the video with a statement that reads as follows: "At Huda Beauty, we want our community to know that we're all in this together and we're here to support, inspire, and ease burdens wherever we can. COVID-19 is not only impacting our physical health, but it's negatively affecting us economically, socially, and emotionally. This makeup artist initiative is just the beginning of our journey to help the world and our industry during this unexpectedly challenging time. We hope this gesture offers freelance artists, within the makeup community that we love, a bit of much-needed relief. As a brand, we believe the only way to get through adversity is by acting with kindness and positivity — and we aren’t stopping here. We'll be looking to our community to share suggestions and ideas on how to continue our support efforts. Together we can uplift each other, even during uncertain times."Instagram contentView on InstagramLet us slide into your DMs.Sign up for theTeen Voguedaily email.Want more fromTeen Vogue?
