The sister duo, who has enough originality in their bold brows to crash the wonderful world of the web, are more than just cover artists—they're rising ingenues. "Just two years ago we were completely unknown," they reveal. "Social media gave us a voice and a purpose." The twins have been singer-songwriters since a young age, but it wasn't until recently that their forceful fan base motivated them to transform their pipe dreams into a reality. They won a local KFC contest and were rewarded with studio time with another pair of talented twins, Joel and Benji Madden, then went on to score 3rd place in Ryan Seacrest's international best cover search of Iggy Azalea's "Fancy." Their eccentric theatrics, envious personal style, and natural musical sensibilities are swiftly gaining attention beyond the confines of YouTube, and deservedly so. This quirky Aussie posse is not only incomparable to any of their online predecessors, but they also happen to defy genres. They blend operatic vocal stylings with acoustic guitar to create a hybrid of folk rock and punk rap. Similar to innovative personalities like Lady Gaga, they are performance artists in every sense of the word, and their vision is to entertain and inspire unapologetic self-expression.
