I was the only Black girl in my course, and I'd send around my portfolio and application to 200 different design studios. I didn't hear back from any of them. I think it was my mom who said, “Why don't you try moving your picture to the top right hand side?” When I moved the picture was when I actually started receiving responses, and people were actually getting back to me. So they’re not going to sit back and do nothing because they have the most to lose. If teens could vote, they would prioritize climate action; they wouldn’t deny climate science; and they would challenge us all to do more than we thought was possible. Let’s support them, because theirs will be the generation that will heal this planet.” gpay on galaxy watch
