It's unclear whether the new class of inductees will all join, and if they do, whether the uptick in inclusion will have an impact on who gets nominated for the 2018 Academy Awards. While a number of the inductees have been vocal about the need for inclusion across all facets of Hollywood, it's also important for their fellow Academy members to listen to them, and give them space on their platform to showcase representation.
