I think there are so many roles that are pushed in front of both women's and men's faces. Guys can be the bad boy, the nerd, the football star—and, of course, the same thing is true with girls. People are always pushing them into roles. It's part of the learning process of becoming who you are when you realize things like "wow, this particular role really feels uncomfortable." There were so many times in high school when I was sad. Unfortunately it's just part of life, part of being that age. There are times when you're just really sad and scared. All you know is what you've heard about life. People say, "Oh, it's like this" and "It's gonna happen this way" so you try to fit everything into a kind of a preordained story.
