Over the past several years, I’ve seen people — some once so wholly removed from the issue — organize, lobby, and pursue justice in her name. Tina was a change-maker in its truest meaning and reflection. She also became a symbol of all MMIWG, and it’s in this sacred space that Tina became the quintessential beacon of hope.
